Do Something Now is the branch through which Christian Life Center reaches its City, Nation, and World. Do Something Now is not a ministry of CLC but rather a mindset in that it influences how we operate and function as a church. Reaching our city is not left to only a few who have a little more time just as influencing the world is not left only to college students who are excited to travel the world. Reaching, influencing, and impacting our City, Nation, and World is up to the whole church.
Do Something Now seeks to respond to the cry of the oppressed and broken all around the Globe.
King David wrote Psalm 9:9 -
“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”
And in Psalm 147:3 -
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Whether living in Williamsburg or living in a village in Rwanda, Do Something Now desires to bring heaven to lives that are void of hope. Do Something Now partners with Jesus in meeting the needs of the globe whether that means helping carry someone’s groceries to their car, serving soup to the homeless in New York City, or building a children’s home in Haiti.
How can I 'do something now'?
1. The Do Something Now Cafe.
2. Do Something Now| Open Closet.
3. Do Something Now| Open Pantry.
4. Do Something Now| Parnerships.
6. Be a light right where you are. Be active in your neighborhood, at your kids' school, on your Campus, and in your job. Don't leave doing something now to initiatives at CLC.
Don’t shy away from doing something because you cannot do everything.
